After establishing a Wifi connection the\u00a0HttpConfigServer<\/code>\u00a0class can be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to use it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As an ESP-IDF component http_config_server<\/code> must be included into idf_component.yml as a dependency. As usual this can be done by executing this command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

idf.py add-dependency \"elrebo-de\/http_config_server^1.1.3\"<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you can include http_config_server.hpp<\/code> and use the HttpConfigServer class in your program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HttpConfigServer class is implemented as a Singleton. With this code it is initialized:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wifi connection is set up with elrebo-de\/wifi_manager<\/code>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the pointer to the HttpConfigServer<\/code> instance is retrieved with getInstance()<\/code> and the method initialize<\/code> is called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next step is to declare the config parameters. This is done with method addStringParameter<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here four parameters are declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last step is to call method isConfigured()<\/code> which does the magic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It returns true<\/code> when all configuration parameters have been assigned a value, which is stored in NVS flash memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If any parameter has no value yet, it starts the HTTP configuration server and returns false<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The user opens a browser and navigates to the configuration server page, e.g.: http:\/\/192.168.178.146\/config<\/code> where the configuration parameters can be entered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When all parameters are set, method isConfigured()<\/code> returns true<\/code> and the values can be retrieved with method getStringParameterValue<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
